Automating verification? Moderation of session at International Journalism Festival 2018, Perugia, Italy

On 13 April I moderated a session at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy, which I also planned and organised. The session was entitled Automating Verification? The role of technology in the verification process: status, activities and challenges. It looked at the role of technology in the verification process of digital content, outlined the status of affairs, showcased various activities, and looked at challenges the sector is having to deal with. You can watch a full video of the session here.
