On 16 September 2016 I moderated the Social Media Verification Workshop in Athens, Greece. It was part of the EC co-funded research project REVEAL, in which I am involved on behalf of Deutsche Welle. I did not only moderate the 1-day event, but also organised and planned it from beginning to end, together with my colleagues Nikos Sarris and Eva Jaho of ATC’s iLab.
Overall, almost 90 people attended the workshop. We got lots of very positive feedback, and many inspiring comments. I sum it all up in an article that appeared on the REVEAL project website first.
